Alazani Valley Red, GWH 2024

Semi-Sweet wine made from Saperavi grapes grown in Kakheti region. The aromas of forest berries are well expressed, along with cornelian cherry jam. The taste is mild, with a nice acid-sweet balance. Ripe red fruit notes such as raspberry, cherry and strawberry dominate the palate. Notes of blackcurrant, vanilla and gentle spice add depth and complexity. The finish is smooth, medium-length, with lingering notes of ripe red fruit and a pleasant sweetness.
