Hand harvested grapes from 70-110 y.o. vines grown at 800 m altitude on poor sandy-clay soils of Pedrosa, a Grand Cru of the Ribera del Duero D.O. Fermented in small stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic in new French oak barrels. Aged ~2 y. in barrels and over 1 y. in bottles. Intense and polished, a great example of the Ribera del Duero´s character. Serve at 17°C with game and grilled meats, roasted nuts and mature cheeses.
